I had a few eye opening experiences with Penny yesterday.
I realized what a "little person" she's becoming. She's not a
baby anymore. It almost broke my heart, for the first time
since I got pregnant I decided that maybe it wasn't too soon.
First, she's be getting so independant lately. She always has
had a mind of her own but she is helpful lately. She gets her
balnket and glow worm and goes to her room when she's tired
or when I tell her "night, night". Yesterday she got up from
nap and when I put her down she signed "drink" I told her
that her sippy was in the fridge and to my suprise she walked
over to the fridge, opened and got her sippy out. Then later
that afternoon her grandma came to take her for a little walk.
As she was leaving I said "come give me a kiss and tell me bye."
She actually walked back inside the house, came over gave me
a kiss and said "bye ma". I completely lost it after the door closed.
When did she get so big? She plays by herself, talks on the phone,
rocks her baby doll and 'reads' books. I'm so proud of her cause
she learns so much, so fast. It also scares me because I know I
haven't purposely taught her these things but she has learned
them anyway. She's pick up alot of things that I didn't think she
would..... it makes me alot more aware of what I'm doing.
Anyway, she never ceases to amaze me.

It is so crazy how fast they grow up? My baby's going to be starting 1st grade this year...what's up with that!?!
Penny is so sweet! It is so much fun to watch the new stages that little ones make. It does happen fast. It feels like you just had Penny and I had Makenna and now you have another little one on the way and our two babies are both almost two. Life is good. Hope that you are all well.
