Yeah, I know it's a gross picture, but it had to be taken.Penny got her first bloody nose this morning. She was
riding her little bouncy horse and flipped herself off
over the top and landed on her face. I happened to be
standing right there and grabbed her before she started
crying because I was worried she had hurt her neck
because of how she landed. I was cuddling her for a whole
minute before I realized my shirt was much wetter than
it sould be. When she lifted her head I saw her face like this.
My shirt was saturated in blood. Yuck! But I guess it's a
right of passage. Luckily she calmed down when she realized
that I was going to give her a bath. She looked at herself in
the mirror and laughed. Lucky for me she doesn't have a weak
stomach or realize what blood is. So anyway, forgive the gross
picture but I'd like to document ALL of her childhood... not
just the pretty and cute parts! Love you all!

Oh, I feel so bad that Penny had to go through that. It is never easy to see your babies hurt. I hope that she is doing better! Makenna saw the picture and got a really worried look on her face and pointed to her nose and said' "ow, mama! Punny ow." She can't say Penny's name quite right yet but she knew she was hurt.
Oh Man! Poor Girl! That Is Pretty Gross For Us With Queezy Stomachs, But Like You Said...Get Down The Good With The Bad...Besides...It Might Just Come In Handy For The Dating Years! :)
