O.k. So lately I've been doing some Indexing for Family Search.
It's a great way to help me feel like I'm accomplishing something
during the day and I can pause or stop any time I need to. I just
wanted to share some funny things that I've noticed. So many
Things are different now days.... Some better, some worse.. Enjoy.
Spinsters- What I think is funny is that the girls over
18 that aren't married are listed as
spinsters. But a man
who has never been married despite his
age is just a Bachelor.
Lunatic and Idiots- There is a place were you mark
how many people in your household are lunatics or idiots.
To my surprise lots of people had it marked.
Back in those days they weren't very sensitive,
plus they didn't diagnose specific disabilities.
Calligraphy- The hand writing is so pretty! It's hard for me to
read but it's written so curly and cute.
Names- Everyone had the same name. I swear there are
only 8 guy names. They might be 15 girl names.
Occupations- can you believe that some men's occupations
were actually "Gentlemen"..... Now a days
we call that a "Player" right?
Anyways I enjoy it. Love you all!

yeah, I can't believe how much things have changed from our parents generation to ours. I need to do that family search stuff.
